Goatacorn

Support for the iPhone and iPad app ยท Last updated October 2, 2026

Goatacorn is a one-tap flying game for iPhone and iPad, made by independent developer Richard Nelson under the studio name Blondee Games. You fly a goat-unicorn through candy-cane pipes, collect sprinkles, spend them in the shop and fly the same Daily Challenge course as everyone else. With You-da-corn you can even put your own face on the goat. The game works offline, with no accounts, ads or in-app purchases.

Need a person?

Write to contact@goatacorn.com. Please tell us your device, the app version and what happened just before the problem. You can find the version at the bottom of Settings.

How do I fly?

Tap TAP TO PLAY on the title screen, then tap to start. Each tap flaps and lifts you; stop tapping to fall. Fly through the gaps between the candy-cane pipes. Every pipe you pass scores a point. Touching a pipe or the ground ends the run. The world changes every ten points. Use the pause button to stop for a moment, and MENU to go back to the title.

What are sprinkles, stars and the meter?

Sprinkles float in arcs between the pipes. Fly through them to collect them. A big star candy is worth five. Flying through the middle of a gap builds a combo that makes each sprinkle worth more, up to five times. Every sprinkle you collect also fills the meter under your sprinkle count; when it is full, your character turns super for eight seconds.

Your first flight of each day earns double sprinkles. Sprinkles are saved when a run ends.

What is the Daily Challenge?

Tap DAILY on the title screen. Everyone flies the same course on the same day, including players on goatacorn.com, and a new course starts at midnight where you are. The Daily Challenge screen shows today's attempts, your best today, your streak and the time until the next course. Play every day to grow your streak; if you miss a single day, the streak can be saved once a week. After your first daily run, a ghost of your best run today flies beside you.

What is in the shop? Does anything cost money?

Tap SHOP. Spend sprinkles on power-ups (Double Day doubles today's sprinkles, Mega Run makes the next run's sprinkles worth five times as much), characters, trails, auras and the You-da-corn. Tap a character you own to see it show off. Nothing in the shop costs real money. You cannot buy sprinkles with money, and there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

Super Goatacorn can smash through one pipe, then needs five seconds to recharge. The ground still ends the run.

How do I make a You-da-corn?

Unlock You-da-corn in the shop once, for 100 sprinkles. Then tap Make a You-da-corn. Tap the big button to turn on the camera, put your face in the oval and tap it again to take a selfie. Or tap Choose a photo to use a picture you already have. The app finds the face and shows it on the flying Goatacorn. Tap KEEP if you like it, or RETAKE to try again. Then give your You-da-corn a name of up to 14 letters (a name is filled in for you) and tap DONE.

You can make as many You-da-corns as you like, for brothers, sisters and friends, at no extra cost. Each one gets its own card in the shop. Tap the card to fly as that You-da-corn.

Why does Goatacorn ask to use the camera?

Only to take a selfie for a You-da-corn. iOS asks the first time you tap the big button on the You-da-corn screen. The picture is fitted and kept only inside the app on this device. It is never uploaded, never shared and never saved to your Photos.

If you said no, the app says the camera is turned off. You can turn it on with Open Settings, or tap Choose a photo instead. Choosing a photo needs no permission, because the app only gets the one photo you pick.

It says it couldn't find a face

The app needs one face, looking straight at the camera. Try again in good light, with only one person in the picture, facing forward and not too far away. The app tells you which of these it needs. If a photo will not open at all, try a different one.

How do I rename or delete a You-da-corn?

In the shop, tap the options button on its card, or open Settings and find it under You-da-corns. Choose Rename, New picture or Delete. Deleting asks you to confirm, then removes that You-da-corn and its pictures from the device. If a card says "Couldn't delete yet, try again", tap Delete again; the next time the app starts, it finishes the job.

My You-da-corn says it needs a new picture

You-da-corn pictures are never included in device backups, so a phone or tablet restored from a backup keeps the names but not the pictures. Until it gets a new one, that You-da-corn flies as the plain Goatacorn. Choose New picture to make it again.

How do I start over?

Delete the app and install it again. That removes everything the app saved on this device, including every You-da-corn and its pictures. There is no undo. Apple's device backups and anything you already shared are separate. The app privacy policy explains the details.

How do I turn off sound, music, vibrations or effects?

Tap the gear on the title screen to open Settings. Under Sound and touch, switch off Sound, Music, Haptics or Effects. Turning Effects off means fewer sparkles and no flashes or shakes, which helps on older devices. The game's sound can play even with the device's silent switch on, so use these switches for quiet play.

Under Motion, Reduce motion turns off flashes and shaking, and the characters stand still after a run instead of cheering. If Reduce Motion is on in your device's settings, the game follows it.

Do I need an account or the internet?

No. There is no account and no sign-in, and the whole game works offline, the Daily Challenge and You-da-corn included. The app makes no network connections of its own. Opening the privacy policy from the app, or sharing a score through an online service, needs a connection.

Is it the same as the game on goatacorn.com?

It is the same game with the same rules and the same daily course, rebuilt for iPhone and iPad, with You-da-corn added. Progress is separate: sprinkles and characters in the app stay in the app, and there is no way to move them to or from the website. The app has no online leaderboard.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. The app supports iPhone with iOS 18 or later and iPad with iPadOS 18 or later. On iPhone, play with the phone upright. On iPad, you can use portrait or landscape.
